Summary: The door swung open and Remus couldn't help but reel back from Severus's furious expression. The latter's hair and clothed were disheveled, and he was covered in some kind of white powder and something red and sticky. Remus had seen the look a few times before, and it meant no good. Something had gone horribly wrong, he could just sense it.

Before Remus got as much as a "hello" out, he was pulled in and the door was slammed shut behind him.

"You don't usually come home so early," Severus growled, practically ripping Remus's coat off. He turned Remus around to face him and pressed their lips together. The kiss had potential to turn passionate, but it was over almost as soon as it began.

I so loved this! I hope I left a rave review in the Snupin site to say so .. (I think so.)

I love it all over again now. Remus's very stance shows how taken by surprise he is. But getting used to it quickly, of course. I like his finger crooked into Severus's pocket, with the angles from fingers and wrist up to elbow spelling out a sort of awkwardness. It suggests that his hand flew upward in an instinctive protectiveness, or fending-off motion, when Severus grabbed him, but when he realized it was just an unusual display of Snape-ish passion, he adapted and his fingers tucked into the pocket they were resting on.

I have to say, the mess on Severus reminds me exactly of superfine sugar and cherry or raspberry jam. Was he trying to make filled doughnuts or Bismarcks for Remus, and they exploded? Maybe the taste of it on Severus's face is why there's that tiny little smile starting on Remus's lips.

	Mmmm, Snupin. :) I love the way Snape is cradling Lupin's face and all the tenderness implied there. And Lupin's finger in Snape's pocket. g Beautifully done! (Reply to this)
